Roman Shades are a very popular element of design. Even in a basic color fabric, this shade makes a striking statement and add charm to any room.
The shades rise and can be lowered to hang smoothly, a weight bar is inserted into the hem at the bottom of the shades.
The shades are raised by pulling on the draw cord, which causes the shades to fold in accordion pleads.
The cord is strung through rows of rings, then along the screw eyes in the mounting board at the top.
The shade is attached to a mounting board and may be installed as either an outside mount or as an inside mount.
For an outside mount, the mounting board is installed above the window.
For an inside mount, it is installed at the top of the window, inside the frame.
Additional options:
Clutch Shade - RollEase lifting system. Recommended for large and heavy shades.
Top Down / Bottom Up
Valances - Attached to the top of the shade. Available in any Comfortlines fabric or COM (customer\'s own material).
Edge 2" binding - Contrasting fabric applied to the sides and/or bottom of the shade or valance. Available in any Comfortlines fabric or COM.
Blockout lining - Provides maximum privacy and light blocking.
Mounting board sizes - For shallow window frames or outside mounted shades the ¾" x ¾" board is recommended.
Can be motorized.
